Tucows posts 4th-quarter profit of $3.1 million

TORONTO – TORONTO (AP) _ Tucows Inc. (TCX) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $3.1 million.

On a per-share basis, the Toronto-based company said it had net income of 28 cents.

The Internet services company posted revenue of $45 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $11.4 million, or $1 per share. Revenue was reported as $172.9 million.

Tucows shares have dropped 13 per cent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $18.44, unchanged over the last 12 months.
