Winner: George Lucas
Star Wars fans have longed for the day their beloved universe would fall into the hands of a new master, freed from the dark overload who tricked them into loving him before showing his Special Edition, Greedo-shooting-first true face. But few expected the November sale of Lucasfilm to Disney, or the announcement of a new Star Wars trilogy. It was a confusing information overload for people over 40 who are now left wondering whether or not they were better off with Lucas at the helm all along. One thing is certain—given Disney’s reluctance to revisit its own Song of the South, it’s highly unlikely Jar Jar will get his own spinoff.
