Communications Agency, St. Catharines, ONT.

The Challenge:

Keep up with the rapid technological changes in the media that affect clients’ advertising needs.

The Reinvention:

Since he founded Tri-Media in 1986, Albert Iannantuono has re-vamped the agency several times, typically by jumping early into new technologies, such as web design. In the latest case, “we realized the traditional [media] business was dying and we had to do more digital and social media, as well as mobile.” That meant hiring programmers and user-experience experts, and launching new services geared at these channels.

I call [reinvention] an evolution. What we are today is not what you’re going to be tomorrow

The Outcome:

Tri-Media has made it back to the PROFIT 200 list of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies this year, ranking 93rd based on five-year revenue growth.
